Here at Hallie’s Hideaway, we understand how important memories are. By providing a beautiful holiday home, our main aim is to allow families precious time away from home and hospital, to make their own memories to last a lifetime.
A short break away from the stresses and pressures of childhood cancer, and other illnesses, gives families time to relax, recharge and reconnect.
Alongside the main charity objective of the respite holiday home, Hallie’s Hideaway also offers support groups for parents who are caring for their poorly child, and separate groups for bereaved parents. It is our hope that these events allow parents to connect with others in similar situations and become a space safe to talk, connect or just have a cup of tea, with other people who understand.
After losing their daughter Hallie in November 2023, her parents, Kimberley & Jamie, set up Hallie’s Hideaway with the promise to continue the legacy of their beautiful daughter and support other families going through similar pain. Knowing how important memories are, and with some of Kimberley and Jamie’s favourite memories with Hallie being from when they were away, the idea of Hallie’s Hideaway was born.
